Our progeny- and theme groups at the NRM 2019 have given a good impression of how CRV genetics can improve the health and efficiency of your herd. On Friday June 28, CRV showed 3 progeny groups and two theme groups.
Next to many visitors from The Netherlands, also the international guests invited by CRV has visited the CRV booth and the presentations in the show ring. CRV Global Sales has welcomed more than 350 guests from 35 different countries during NRM 2019. It was another succesfull edition!
The NRM is over… But we can look back at a very good, interesting and succesfull NRM week! The first guests arrived already at the beginning of the week and they therefore had the time to visit many farms, some groups only had just 1 day of (also very good) farm visits. We of course wanted to show all our guests the best highlights of our farms in The Netherlands and our breeding program. Below an impression of the NRM week.

For years, Dutch Holstein cows have stood out as a breed that embodies longevity and high component percentages. To secure profits on dairy farms, it’s vital that the herd produces milk with high added value over a long period of time. In other words; efficient, healthy cows that produce milk that contains a high percentage of fat and protein. The Dutch dairy sector is a trail blazer in this respect, but improvement is still feasible in every herd.

At the NRM, CRV will again be showing a group of six elite donors. This group of donors are cattle who rank among the top scorers of their year based on their genomic breeding values. The Delta donors have all been used as maiden heifers in the Delta Satellite programme. Their embryos have therefore been used at more than 200 Delta Satellite farms located in the Netherlands, Flanders and the Czech Republic. They represent the foundations of CRV’s future offering of bulls.

CRV is showing a progreny group of Bouw Rocky consisting of heifers, second calvers and third calvers. Bouw Rocky is currently the highest scoring daughter-proven bull for longevity. His daughters are also very late maturing and healthy, so they can easily handle their productions and produce very efficiently. Bouw Rocky comes from the same cow family as Finder.
