As of today, Angus Haslett is CRV’s new CEO. He succeeds Roald van Noort who successfully led CRV for the past 12,5 years. Haslett joined CRV in 2009 as Managing Director of the Business Unit Oceania and most recently also managed CRV’s USA operation.
The Supervisory Board is pleased to welcome CRV’s first international CEO. Angus has enjoyed a career in agriculture for over 25 years mostly in the dairy industry. In his period as Managing Director he has worked closely on developing Oceania’s strategy. His position also included several successful acquisitions that have seen CRV establish itself at the forefront of innovation in cattle improvement.
Angus: “It’s a great honour to become CRV’s new CEO. I am excited to deliver the promise Better cows > Better life to all farmers around the world, together with a passionate global team of over 2.000 colleagues. We will further build on CRV’s success and take up the opportunities that lie ahead. I hope to be able to travel to the Netherlands soon and to meet with our members in Flanders and the Netherlands personally”.
Due to the global Covid-19 crisis and restrictions in travelling Angus Haslett will relocate to The Netherlands, where CRV headquarters is located, as soon as it is possible.
Roald van Noort will remain with CRV until September 1st 2020 in order to facilitate a smooth transition.
The replacement of Angus in Business Unit Oceania will be announced in due course. Further details about Roald’s official farewell will follow at a later stage.
